September 12-14, 2025
Join us for a weekend retreat focused on the experience of “oneness” through transcendence of the mind, as prescribed in both the ancient Aghor tradition and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. We will explore how these timeless wisdom traditions offer clear, actionable paths to peace, clarity, and the ultimate realization of the interconnectedness of all things.
The weekend will include sutra talks and discussion, morning and evening meditation, gentle yoga and healthy meals, all within the Ashram’s coastal redwood sanctuary.
Nimishji has been a student of Babaji for the last 5 years. At the age of 16, he started learning Yoga under the tutelage of Harold and Promil Sequeira from The Yoga Institute in Mumbai. He was trained in the system of Classical Yoga with the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali (Raja Yoga) as the basis of that system. Subsequently, Nimishji underwent formal Yoga Teacher’s Training at The Yoga Institute. He assisted the late Georg Feuerstein in digitizing the Encyclopedia of Yoga and the Yoga Philosophy and History manual for teacher trainings.
