Nettle Tea

Stinging Nettle is rich in vitamins A and C, iron, potassium, manganese and calcium.  Nettle tea will help with allergies and is very good for the immune system.

  • With gloves pick one whole plant including roots
  • Wash thoroughly
  • Put in a pot of water
  • Add a few leaves of mint (optional)
  • Bring to a full boil, then turn off to steep.
  • Keep the pot with the nettle on your stove all day and ladle out cups to drink throughout the day, reheating as necessary.
