Stinging Nettle is rich in vitamins A and C, iron, potassium, manganese and calcium. Nettle tea will help with allergies and is very good for the immune system.
- With gloves pick one whole plant including roots
- Wash thoroughly
- Put in a pot of water
- Add a few leaves of mint (optional)
- Bring to a full boil, then turn off to steep.
- Keep the pot with the nettle on your stove all day and ladle out cups to drink throughout the day, reheating as necessary.
