Aghoreshwar left his body on November 28, 1992. Fortunately, such beings as Sarkar Baba do not disappear with the end of the body. They become available and accessible to all, continuing to give their compassionate help to those who turn to them.
During this sacred time, every evening at 6PM we are chanting the following mantra 108 times to honor Aghoreshwar:
Aghoranna Paro Mantro, Naasti Tatvam Guro Param
Translated as: The very name of Aghor (Shiva, or the one who has attained the state of Aghor) is a mantra that is above all other mantras. There is nothing higher to be known than the real nature of the Guru.
We invite you to join us in the Ashram Temple, or to light a lamp or candle and create your own personal observance in your home.
